New Year suggestion

We always go away for a few days over new year, either somewhere in this country or abroad. Generally somewhere a little different, but still lively. For instance, two years ago we went to Bideford in Devon, where the whole town dresses up in fancy dress. Does anyone have any suggestions where we could go this year?

I would reccomend that you go to Liege, in Belgium. All public transport is free on new years eve to stop drink driving.
Also you can Visit the Christmas village

Thats an interesting one. Have never been to Liege, although passed it many time. Have also spent 2 new years in Leuven, which is fairly near there. Thanks.
