Ive never had it done but I have seen a couple of them, great results, like brand new, but im sure that is not everybody's experience, possibly just avoid the cheap jacks!
Good results, as Rattman said. It's an expensive process though. Usually only used on something like a period cast iron bath, or something a bit special.
I had ours done about 5yrs ago and it still looks like new, and used very regulary, but mainly for showers.
i need mine done, how much would it normally cost?
Had mine done over 10yrs ago & still like new. Cost £100 then.
According to one company between £220 and £420..........
I had it done many years ago. It was expensive but worth it. The bath looked like new.

Thanks for the response folks. The bath would cost over a thousand pounds today...have been quoted £200...its only got a few scratches on the bottom and they wont polish out...was concerned about the durabillity of the new surface....thanks all.
Had ours done about 15 years ago was £240 then. Unfortunately after a few years it started to chip so there are a few marks, but can't be bothered to replace it. Mostly fine though, just take care you don't knock edges with plugs etc.

Eddie, you philistine!!!
It's not only that Eddie, its the hassle of taking the old one out and all the mess ...
period cast iron baths are not to be chucked, just re-enameled.

Hi, I run own bath resurfacing company. You can check the website for the idea of how it's done on-site. It's a one day process that I well documented in a gallery, described on several pages there and even run a blog so I strongly encourage you to visit and see by yourself. If you'd like to speak with any of my customer to ask about the durability during the years, I can arrange it if you send me an email. I also have a current UK price guide so, that shall answer most of your questions here: www.eagerbeaver.org.uk
