Why does the channel abc 1 have the weirdest advert breaks? It goes; bit before opening credits + opening credits----advert break----the bulk of the episode-----the last minute or so of the episode and the end credits-----little animation of abc 1 (no adverts)-------bit before opening credits + opening credits...........

yep - thats right, its a ploy to make you sit through the adverts and it's how advert breaks happen in the usa - i believe it's just american programs on abc1
