I have been really infested with lily beetles this year. Any suggestions

Yes I've taken about 15 off one pot over the past week....I think the best thing to do is check your plants first thing in the mornings & squash any that you find. (unless you have lots of plants in which case there's probably a systemic pesticide solution but I very rarely resort to chemicals).

I was advised to spray with a solution of washing up liquid and water - 2- 3 days of spraying morning & night and they are gone. To get rid of the adults I was advised to shake the plants rather than just pick off - it seemed to work
