Does anyone remember a God-awful sitcom on BBC1 starring Jasper Carrot? It was some ill-thought out politically correct thing where he was married to an Asian woman and they had a handicapped child. Every episode seemed to end with some politically-correct moral to the story.

Wasnt the point of the show that it was so overtly PC as to be ridiculous?
I'm not saying the show was any good but i thought it was taking the pi$$ out of moralistic politically correctness.
I think it was meant to be ironic wasnt it?

yes but anything jasper does can be forgiven purely on the basis of his 'mole in the back garden ' routine
