Isn't it amazing when booking a holiday, how many times the person taking the booking says "oh I've been there. Stayed in the same hotel". Or does it just happen to me? I also noticed when I went to Florida how many of the locals had relatives that live in the same city where I live in the UK. But they can't remember which part! Yeah, right!

My mate was a manager for Thomas Cook and she had been to a lot of the hotels. Not always for extended stays, more a viewing.

Don't find it that amazing, I thought most proper travel agents had some experience of staying in the resorts they send people to, certainly the package type.
As prudie and ummmm says a lot of travel agents have ‘go sees’ to the hotels etc or get massive discounts so visit in their free time
And then they try and sell you the best bits :-)
