Would like to get the name of some online companies that will print digital images and get them to you in a "reasonable amount of time, with reasonable quality."

Prefer those with 'first hand experience' of the service

Current photo printer no longer able to cope, not sure I want to go to the expense of another good quality printer for a wide range of photo needs

I am currently using Adobe PhotoShop Elements 6.0, which I find extremely useful on recent Dell PC with Vista.

Thanks ahead of time as you've never let me down before.

Thanks for the timely response VHG

They talk a good service, but, do you know anyone who has used them and received a satisfactory delivery of good quality photos?

Old Salt

I have used photobox and received good quality prints including enlargements and they were received within a week.
We used photobox to print some of our wedding prints and they turned out lovely.

Terrific pauln90 and squarebear

I have asked Photobox for a quote to provide a few specialised prints................something I have been wanting to do, but never got the time. It should provide me with the final reassurance.

Thank your for taking the time to post

salt old thing

a recommendation is valuable

but do bear in mind that "specialised" prints won't necessarily fall into the same category as good wedding prints - or holiday snaps

and there are about three different printing processes in use and they all fit certain niches

(this is a little extreme admittedly)
I use a speciallist lab for some stuff I do at work
they work on each print individually
(and cost an arm and a leg)
but boots just don't compare

my chum potholes ... and he swore by jessops
hated boots ...

horses for courses
I have used photobox for yearsand are very pleased with them, they do a very quick service, sometimes saying your prints are on way within a couple of hours. I sell quite a lot of prints and have had no complaints from my customers.

If you do order from Photobox Old Salt, a little tip once you have unrolled the print if you have ordered a large one, leave flat, don't try and re-roll as it damages the photo no matter how careful you are (from experience) You can also add this note if you are sending it directly to someone else in the box provided on the order form.

Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs, elcee45

Never even thought of that;

however,

To be forewarned is to be forearmed

Many Thanks

Thanks ianmunt

Looks to me like Snapfish is run by HP; I have started with Photobox, but I will certainly put Snapfish on my list

Good of you to take the time to respond

I've used Photobox for some years and can highly recomend them, if you order in the morning the prints are always delivered in 3 days, sometimes quicker.
PS. Don't use Tescos,Terrible!
Question Author
Totally agree about TESCO, gelda

When I was using film, I tried them a few times before writing them off as a time consuming waste of money.

I am still tring to complete the editing of about twenty images, which I will send to Photobox as part of my forty freebees. I intend to cover every print type I am likely to use.

Thanks for the response
