Every time I try to print a document I get the following message: 'The printer is currently printing or has an error. Clear any errors and wait until all other print jobs have finished.' The things is, ive restarted my pc on 5 different occassions and cleared any jobs that I have running but nothing can be done. Any help?

To be honest Wizard we would need to know what model and make the printer was, as some of the more expensive ones could potetially hold print jobs in an internal memory!
Try: Uninstalling then reinstalling the printer driver.
This is only an idea wizard, but most of our printer/pc problems were resolved instantly when we bought a brand new lead.

Its an Epson 480 Stylus, ive tried uninstalling and installing again with no joy. It all started when my dad tried installing a new cartridge and it wouldnt charge the ink. Now it just comes up with the above message and keeps asking for me to clear all errors!
Does the printer run the self-test (you know, turning it on when holding a button down or using button combinations). What does the Epson print manager application say about this?
