I know that there are negative aspects, such as harmful effects on eyes etc, also playing instead of doing other necessary things, and all the rest, but has anyone had positive effects as I have? There has been a definite improvement in my ability to recall information and names and the like. My physical coordination has improved, and of course i keep getting better and better at the games. In competion games it is even more noticable. But in my personal life i am very pleased at the improvement.

Im playing Tekken 5 right now and I have the reflexes of a ninja! No, but seriously Im not sure that there are noticible positive side effects. Perhaps hand to eye coordination? Relaxation ( for some people i guess?) and if you enjoy the game your body will produce endorphins which make you feel good! (or is that just through excercise?) Anyway I can think of plenty of other things to stimulate my endorphins...

I can honestly say I've never noticed anything like that after playing a computer game.

However, when I was young I noticed when I went out and played football, rode my bike, met up with friends and socialised, I was healthy in mind and body.

Don't waste your life sitting in front of the TV. There's a whole world of things to learn out there.

I can now shoot a man with my sniper riffle 50m away on top of a building. not to be sniffed at! ;o)
Actually on a serious note, I play pool both online and in 'real' life, and i'd swear my online pool has improved my 'real' game.

computer games can improve spatial skills which can have an effect when the skills of children in 'westernised' countries are compared to those in the developing world.

Also, in the most recent series of 'Child of our time' the 5 year old lad who played Xbox A LOT had the reaction times of a much older child, and was much better at certain puzzles and tests which were set - mainly of the spatial variety.  It was quite impressive!

The only thing you're probably improving is your ability to play computer games. Just like if you read books you'll improve your reading. If computer games are improving your personal life then you must be having some wild parties.

If you genuinely feel that your physical co-ordination has improved, there you are then, a positive effect.  I have never played a computer game; if I knew how it might improve my poor co-ordination. Hand-to-eye is not good for me. I don't know what age you are, but the improvements might also be coincidentally because you are growing to your physical peak.

I think all experts agree that it's a question of 'use it or lose it' in the mind department so everyone needs some brain stimulus.   Of course, a rationing of one's free time is ideal; keep those kind of pursuits but spend time on other recreations, otherwise you could become withdrawn and depend too much on game-playing.  I think everyone needs to  get an all round approach.

Yes, I agree with the comment as my concentration power has been improved but that doesn't mean I am supporting continuous engagement over those games. When my selection has been considered, first of all, check out complete information at http://nodepositrewards.eklablog.com/ then executed the deal over the site.
