Walking is great Rowan. Start slowly and gradually build it up. I can’t do it everyday but hope to get out there 3 times a week. Because of health problems I can only walk at a brisk pace for 10 minutes but it does wonders with my energy and mind set. Let us hear how it goes.
Good morning campers, another gorgeous day here and I hope the same for you. I had some pasta for dinner but won’t do it again. It doesn’t fill you up so why play with fire. I’m trying out different foods to see how they work with me now that I’ve reached my goal but a small portion won’t hurt now and then just for a change.

Morning , project Rowan continues, the scales say I have lost a little, I think sleeping better is the secret as I am not eating to stay awake during the day. Got to pick up a toner for my hair today and a face mask nothing planned for this evening so a mini spa session.
Really not missing the bigger portion sizes, suddenly it's as if I am not that person anymore.
xstitcher...apparently short brisk walks are just as beneficial as longer walks. Just try to get a bit out of breath.
Really ! And you can fit more into the day.
I'm going away next month and I could do with losing a few pounds, but I'm eating so much ice cream these days that I can't see that happening !
Just sent off for a Wii and Wii fit I had some vouchers so it was free. Cheaper than joining the gym if I combine it with walking. Used to enjoy it .... BD
Like you HERIAM I have been having too many icecreams this week so the scales are showing a slight gain .
I am freezing a mix of blended fresh fruit and greek yoghurt in ice cube trays, creamy and healthy. A few of those helps a lot.
Project Rowan going well, started the day with 15 mins of suppleness moves and 15 minutes meditation. Lost a bit more but I know this early its mostly water
Rowanwitch with all the upset in your life at the moment if it were me I would think dieting would be he last thing on your mind . But after you get things sorted out by no means start to plan your eating . We don't talk about diets here it is healthy eating and planning your meals for the week because if you don't this is where things don't work ,xstitcher and I have kept these posts running from where she started it off about 3 to 4 years ago .we welcome ideas and recipes from others . Don't try everything at once .deal with your loss first .
This is me dealing with my loss.... Dave wanted me to look after myself, and be the women he saw but I couldn't, every healthy meal I eat, every time I drink water not hi caffeine diet drinks I hear him saying ' fair play to you darling' he would be so pleased I am sleeping well and looking after myself
Hope it works out for you but I still,say don't try and cope with everything at once . I know people deal,with things in different ways and this is your way but just be careful,it don't get on top of you .you will get there one step,at a time .
I had to give up having ice cream in the house. Even though it was sugar free it was still full fat. I couldn’t resist the temptation and the portions kept getting just a bit bigger every time......bought a bag of ice cubes now for ice water.....no temptation there.....a bit boring BUT.......
Forgot to say.....you’re quite right pasta...it’s all about huffing and puffing says my cardio nurse. I sound like an old steam engine when I walk....well almost ........
