This is a piece from The Graun yesterday.

I read it with an increasing feeling of disquiet - and eventually decided that (even if there was a germ of truth somewhere in it) the whole article was a ridiculous conflation of half-truths, selective memories and plain falsehoods - cobbled together to fit a headline and an agenda.

But then I'm a man so "I would think that wouldn't I" ?

I'd be interested in other opinions - especially from female ABers ...

Cheers (ahem)

It reminds me a bit of the #metoo thing. If you didn't say you'd been sexually attacked by a man, the implication was you weren't sexy enough. So (almost) everyone has said they had been. (Perhaps they had, I don't know.) Barbra Streisand was asked if she had. She said 'No, I wasn't blonde enough.'

That's elderly people for you, Gness. Stop going!
I thought it would be just elderly folk, Tilly.......but most are younger than me.....
I now use my ear plugs......partly I'd leave depressed at so much pain and illness....and partly the bloody 70s/80s music they choose... :-(

70s music is brilliant!

Anyway, back to the article...a cobbled together piece, to fulfil a remit.

Rubbish.
I must have missed that, Tilly.... :-(

Spot on, Clover....exactly as I see it......x
Good to know, gness. Thank you.
