What is the difference between an Abbey, a Minster and a Cathedral?

Im never sure about minsters...but a cathedral is the seat of a bishop, and an abbey has, or had, a monastery attached.
Like an abbey, a minster is or was a monastery church. Westminster Abbey, of course, incorporates both words in its name.
