Repetitive syndrome?

I work in an open plan office. I'm rather perturbed by a
manager that works for the company who seems to repeat and repeat and finish off my sentences whenever I speak to him. Its getting more and more annoying and I have nitced he can't help but do this all the time with whoever he speaks to.

I'm not sure if I should tackle this issue with him, due to doing it to everyone, surely he must have had someone tell him how bloody annoying it can get. I have recently started talking to him and suddenly changed the subject midway through conversation just to catch him out, he goes quiet then catches on and continues to finish or repeat what I'm saying. Anyone else experienced this and tackled this delicate matter?

hey flidball...erm sorry i mean scuzzball bag - yeah of course everyone is bored of my questions including you thats why you keep having to respond to your "virtual" friends, actually you don't even have any of them do you happiness - anyway yeah i did think of moving to an office all on my own but where is the fun in that i ask myself, its far too amusing right here. If only you all knew how true to life my questions are.
Angeldraws my people skills are a proven technique as shown over the past years but thanks for your constructive comments all the same.
Hi scanning - I love the witty way you play with my name. You must be the centre of attention in your playground!
Better than calling a stranger darling - Scudb0llocks
Put another way, your problem is that you are being interrupted.

Here's what to do. The instant he interrupts you to finish your sentence, you stop talking, completely and pointedley. Maybe even turn away from him. The message will get through unless he is ridiculously thick-skinned.
Littlebishop - borrow a dictionary from a friend, ask them to look up the word 'irony' and read it out to you, then ask them to explain what it means.
noun (pl. ironies) 1 the expression of meaning through the use of language which normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous effect. 2 a state of affairs that appears perversely contrary to what one expects.

Oh how i laughed, you are a comedy genius!
I had a really fine lady who reported to me (I was her manager) who did this very same thing. She, however, would try to say what I was saying while I said it. Anyway, I tried to talk to her about it during a performance appraisal and she had no idea what I was referencing. I finally just decided to enjoy the things about her that I liked and knew that when I talked to her, I needed to be ready for her "habit." We all have something annoying about us, I guess. She put up with whatever I did that may have bugged her.
Thank you.
