While ITV were showing us the darker side of the medical world with their documentary, 'Harold Shipman, Doctor Of Death' , over on BBC 1 the series ' Ambulance' returned to our screens to show that not everyone in the medical profession has a God Complex. Far from it! Once again, 'Ambulance' provided an insight into just how dedicated and caring many of our NHS workers really are. They treated a drug addict who was 'unresponsive', with the same respect they showed to an 80 odd year old woman who had fallen. Similar programmes - such as '999, What's Your emergency?' (which was also on last night (Channel 4, 9pm)) and '24 hours in A&E' - also highlight just how much we rely on our Emergency Services. I have always held them in very high regard and these type of programmes serve to reaffirm that admiration.

I agree with you Ken.
It was a superb and moving episode, the 101 year old Lady was a star in her own right.

To see the fragility too of Nat the Paramedic as her Daughter was rushed to Hospital was the real human side.
