So no one steals them from the supermarket shelves ?
I have no idea on the legalities but yes it is possible.

This from a few years ago and you can buy wrist bands etc.

i saw the vodaphne bag ad, and it made me wonder
Can't see why it wouldn't be legal.
Could be an issue if they belong to someone else.
If this is like micro chipping for dogs, then I think it's an excellent idea for children. With the proviso that the chip is removed when the child comes of age, it might be a great safety precaution.

It does smack a bit of 'Big Brother' though. A human rights issue perhaps?
I'm sure chipping will come but for younger children there are other ways.

Just as an example.

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
The current generation of chips used in pets are not RFID...they only show up when scanned at fairly close range and are not trackable. That's why when animals are tracked in the wild, they are still fitted with bulky external tracking devices.

Hmmm I infer if the human race will start to be rfid chipped so ‘they’always know where everyone is? Thanks for the link by the way it doesn’t seem to have any reviews which is a shame
bedknobs, there will need to be a lot more done on the miniaturisation and electromagnetic recharging of batteries before that happens.....and a HUGE computer to manipulate all the data
