Everytime the gas boiler fires up the tv blacks out.....why?

Think we would need to know how the tv is being fed signal to start with. But if it is say a peripheral set being fed via an av sender, the boiler switching on (as can a microwave oven) could temporarily interrupt reception.

I wonder if it could it be something to do with the radio-frequency? When electric hair clippers are used in our house the gas fire turns itself off. That's ok now because we know to turn it off before using the clippers but I don't know what you would have to do except call on a technician for help.
