I know this is a strange question ... but when we had a green wheeliebin delivered some months ago for our 'recyclables'...two days later we had another one delivered, and rather than tell the council to come and take it away I thought - 'I'll have that, it'll come in handy' and promptly wheeled it into my back garden. But after 6 months its still there. Can anybody advise of a novel idea for it's use? I was going to use it to keep beer cold in at a recent bbq, but its too deep to reach in to get them out!

All suggestions welcome.,..many thanks!

Re; the beer container idea. You say "it's too deep to reach in and get them".

Is that a problem? Everyone brings there own beer to your barbecue. They can reach, and therefore quite happily drink the beers at the top of the bin, but then they eventually leave and all the remaining drinks at the bottom are yours !!!

You Could use it as a water but to save rain water for your garden, or put holes in the bottom and use it as a composter. Depends how much you like gardening for those tho.

you could invent a new sport with it - extreme binning or downhill slalom binning or something?
Great for putting naughty kids in
Get the council to pick it up and allow it to be used by someone else for the purpose it was intended!
