When OH went for papers today he remembered we were almost out of gin and tonic. He bought a half bottle of gin and a bottle of tonic. The tonic was £1.79 and the half bottle of gin was £8.40.
Daylight robbery or what.

Silver Spoon is made from sugar beet and refined just up the road from me in Bury St Edmunds. The refinery is just over the road from a big Tesco store, which is the only one in the country to stock Silver Spoon. All the others sell Tate & Lyle:
