Didn't know where to post this but it covers so many basis I put it here.

Anyway, man from Carphone Warehouse rang me and offered me an upgrade to my phone, it was due so thought I would take it up.

Sent it through the the post and I attempted to set it up myself.

He said I could use my old SIM card so I tried to insert it into the new phones slot, you are then supposed to put in the tray but it just won't go in the SIM is jammed so I can't move it anywhere. Think I should have put it onto the tray and then put it in but I must of done it wrong.

I rushed down to my local shop but they were not interested saying there was nothing they could do, they don't have the tools for that!

So now I'm completely stuffed what do I do now? Rang the Tech Team who advised my to try and shake it out (unsurprisingly this did not work!)

I feel so stupid, they are just not interested, more or less saying it's my fault (probably is to be fair).

So I'm left with a brand new phone which I'm paying for for the next 2 years and nothing to show for it.

My husband is away and told me not to set it up till he got home, but I couldn't wait. Grrrr I feel so stupid.

Just have to say there are absolutely no Asian lads (or any other for that matter) doing a pop up phone repair shop in Dorchester.
Can you put one of the Tiny Pic photos up that lots of Abers put on this site. Maybe if someone can actually see it you might get some help. I don' t know how to put them on but someone on here will tell you what to do .
A quick googles finds two mobile phone repair shops in Dorchester Prudie. Trinity St and South St.

Go to http://tinypic.com/ put on a piccie, choose the shortist link and post here.
Can we help you find a phone repair shop Darcy? Where are you?
I was in Trinity Street about 2 hours ago - I'm not saying there aren't phone repair shops, they are proper shops - not a 'pop-up' run by Asians.

I'm in London so there are a few repair shops I could try, it looks like I will have to but I just didn't want them messing around with a brand new phone not even used yet if I could find an alternative.

Thanks again.
I know exactly what you have done. I did the same thing felt so stupid took tray out then put sim in slot without putting it in the tray. No way could I remove it tried a nail file and ruined it I had damaged the card reader. Don't interfere with it leave it to repair guys they know how to open them up and get it out. Like you I was so mad at myself for being so b****y stupid.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I got it from my granddaughter she had got an upgrade. So was not as expensive yours. She took it to some repair guy but reader was damaged. he said he would just have opened up phone and got it out. Think same guy repaired it but no idea of cost. But yours not damaged so go to repair guy he will open it up and get sim out. Good luck hope all be ok. You could kick yourself I know did so annoying just did it without thinking.
