I found this pretty tough but, in the end, there's just one clue that I cannot fathom at all (I might be wrong on all sorts of others!)
"Old priest , derided endlessly about final reckoning" I have s?o?e?I?e. so it could be shoreline for stove like. Eli is often a priest But as ever, I don't get it. Help gratefully received
