my lights have gone out!

the headlights/sidelights and rear lights on my motor decided to pack up completely tonight ,ive had a quick look at the fuses and they all seem to be intact,does anyone know if theres a relay or some thing else that could have caused this?any advice much appreciated as i havent got a haynes manual. its an N reg vauxhall astra van btw.

the most likely thing is the fuses- if by looking at them you meqan literally looking at them this isnt good enough- test them for conductivity with a multimeter or replace them. If it really isnt the fuses, normally the only place these things come togethr is in the light switch- so checking /replacing that is your next bet.
Check the earth straps hav'nt rusted.
Most likely fault is the switch itself as both sidelight and headlights circuits are protected by separate fuses and also have their own relay.

thanks for the replies ,it was the switch that had burnt out, ive got it working until i can get to the breakers.
Is that to say goodbye to the van or get a new switch??!!
