I haven't shopped in Lidl except to buy their Cremant de Bourgogne which seems quite nice

I know my bank balance is a lot healthier since the German invasion a few years ago.
If I might give a shout for the competition, Aldi do a New Zealand Pinot Gris that's definitely a two bottler. £5.69 the last time I had it.

I have most of my Christmas booze now. I've been taking advantage of some of Lidl's "hardware" bargains in the past week or so. Bought a box of four remote control 13amp socket switches. Great for turning on and off devices thatare hard to reach. Today I bought a ukele! £14.99. I've not played one since I was at school. It's a great little fun instrument. Mrs NJ is not so impressed. She hates listening to George Formby and he could play one!
