I would like to be able to occassionally watch digital tv in another room (i understand that no-one else can be watching something diff on the tele the box is connected to!). Can someone tell me exactly how this can be done and what I would need - i am a bit of a technophobe so make it easy for me. Please note this is just something I would like to be able to do now and again that dont need a permanent fix this is why I would not be happy to pay NTL for two boxes.
thanks

It is more difficult with cable tv than sky or freeview digiboxes and the signal is different.

This gadget here will allow you to watch the programme on a 2nd tv in another room but will not change the channel and so on

Buy another freeview box for the other room TV and watch what you like. If you don't already have an aerial socket in that other room use a small freestanding one.

thanks I did try a freeview box but unfortunately my aerial signal was not strong enough for it. Thanks for the suggestion.
