I find these programs very informative for the very elderly Murray, a lot of us are vulnerable ( My Mother was) these competitions that kept coming through her door & the poor lass was convinced she had won, I think as has been seen, it has helped a lot of People in one way or another.

I watch it and I'm always surprised at the scams that some of the people fall for. There seem to be a lot of vulnerable folks about.

I sometimes watch, as I do with Watchdog. But it has to be said that the program is primarily entertainment, with consumer help coming a very poor second.

Something it does show, however, is the continuing naivity of some of the British public. Most of the scams shown are hardly new, and yet people still fall for them.
