Universal Credit (UC)is replacing claims for six benefits including income-based JSA and income related ESA. The 0345 number CAN cost up to 55p a minute according to Ofcom.

If you're claiming contributions based JSA or ESA, the number to 'phone is an 0800 number which is free from landlines and mobiles.
