I don’t think you’ll have any arguments there AOG.

But this is AnswerBank, so......
If you wanted answers then I can only see them saying yes, but maybe the thread will develop as many do
Yes AOG.
I believe so.
Yes.

Good job, well done.
and yet, strangely, there is nothing in the story to bear out the headline. Just a solitary sentence saying the Philippines don't care about Isis.

It may well be the case, but the Mail have remarkably failed to demonstrate it.
Indeed.
Actually, yes, the article does say ISIS inspired rather than making a direct link. I rescind my earlier comment.
Do you mean direct connection to ISIS jno?

El Bahnasawy has pleaded guilty to his role and it appears has described how/what/why when. So I'm not sure what else you are really looking for?

But that role has no direct connection to ISIS.
I doubt there will be a direct link. Most of the latest atrocities are inspired by ISIS and their call to fight at home.
he pleaded guilty to a terror plot, ymb, but the OP is specifically about Isis, and the story simply doesn't bear it out. Everyone's free to believe it was an Isis plot, and that sounds entirely plausible - but it won't be on the basis of any evidence in the Mail.
YMB seems to be a master at seeing links where there’s no evidence, today.
// Here Is One That Can Be Firmly Planted At The Door Of ISIS //

It was not an ISIS planned attack. But the plotters were 'inspired' by ISIS.
It would be interesting to find out where the money came from to finance the attack. A man was arrested in the Phillipeans, but did the money start there?

Wait a mo, the Les Vegas mass murderer's girlfriend was a Filipino and he wired her $100,000 while she was over in the Philippines.

Couldn't be any connection surely?

Paddock had also wired $100,000 to the country, apparently to help her build a house there.
Karl Marx lived in London. Queen Victoria lived in London at the same time.

Could there be any connection?
No connection, jno.

Karl lived in poverty, Victoria lived in opulence.
