Early Doors

Can anyone tell me if they are going to make a new series of the sit com Early Doors. I thought it was one of the best comedies Ive seen in a long time, much better than Phoenix Nights. Each actor was perfect for the part, I cannot understand why it was tucked away in the late night listings, so much so that most people have never seen it, if you have who was your favourite character?

I love it too. The whole cast really gelled.

I hope they do make a new series, but in the meantime have you seen Still Game on BBC2 on Mondays?

I thought it was absolutely great and couldn't agree more about it being tucked away on BBC2. WHY???? when there is not nearly enough good comedy around. I think Ken was my favourite character and of course who doesn't love Mark Benton! Superb?.It is a real shame if there aren't going to be any more. :-(
Now, what was it i watched the other week that had virtually the whole of the early doors cast in??? It escapes me at the moment but it will come to me eventually, any help appreciated though!!!!

unruliejulie, The Street had quite a few Early Doors cast members, maybe that is the one you are thinking of.

I agree, Early Doors is a treasure. I would think that if there was going to be a third series, we would have seen it by now.

I agree - Early Doors was so funny, I liked all of the cast, nanna & Winnie were funny together as were the policemen
