on my tongue piercing post you said you have had your's pierced.. did it hurt? how much did it cost and how much did it swell? sorry but i dont know anyone who has had it done so thought id ask you!

First time I had it done I had flu and it took ages for the swelling to subside and I suffered like hell. Second time I was fully fit and had no problems!!
It wasnt pain free, but I didnt find it very sore at all. In fact both times I didnt realise the piercer was finished and was still bracing myself for the pain!!
It cost me �25 both times.
My tongue didnt swell too much but just felt akward speaking and eating for a few days, nothing major.
The worst part was the numbing spay, it tasted like rotten bananas lol!!

thankyou so much for your help. i think the fear of getting it done is the worst thing. it took me forever to decide to get my lip pierced!!

its just all the horror stories you hear about bleeding to death, and people choking on their tongues!! scares me!!
although lots and lots of people have theirs done so i think these are mainly over exagerated.

im glad to hear that its not that painful, i think i have quite a high pain threshold because none of my piercings have really hurt apart from my tragus piercing, that killed!!!
and also glad to hear that it doesnt take that long!!

Well Im still alive and didnt bleed at all :)

If it really was that risky Im sure it would be banned!!
