Do you give a regularly seen passer-by a nick-name?

We have 'road-runner', '2 stick man' , 'Sid's mum' amongst some :-)

There's an elderly couple living near me, the lady walks with a stick but her husband is still sprightly, they are affectionately known as Kane and Able.

it's nice to be remembered tho, isn't it? xx

Is your colleague still hiding the stamps Queenie?
When I worked in a card shop we used to have a customer we called Mrs Wrinkles because her face was full of them.
I've known of a "Mrs Walker" also...she's out in all weathers with her dog, walks miles a day. I've recently been told it's her way of dealing with her husbands death. She hates being in her house now he's not there. That made me sad.
It is...they are hoping that if I win the lottery I'd open up a shop again.

No...thank goodness
Cat man - he knocks on my window most days to wave to my cat!

Number 51 - I carry his shopping from the shop. His name is John but I call him 51. That's the door he lives at.

A welder I used to work with was called Teflon..for obvious reasons
We have nicknames for all our neighbours, penguin man, (cos he has a stone penguin in the garden), then there is hensarse, pigeon man, supermarket man, morris the rug (cos he wears one), heating couple, the new people(who have actually been there about 2 years now !) and policeman,... I often wonder what is our nickname .
There was a Mr No Trousers, as he was apparently allergic to trousers (?) and cycled everywhere in a blazer, tie, shirt, shoes socks and undies but no trousers.
There's FatMan and Robinia, Bog-Eyes, Mother and child (actually married!), Vinegar Vera, PLP (peg-leg Pete), Mother Earth and lots more....nobody has a real name!
One neighbour mutton dressed as lamb and her husband duck foot. Another further up called the pikeys as into all sorts .another the .clampets . Now I wonder what I am called .guess I will never know .
