Please can anyone tell me how to clean up a very grubby concrete headstone (1960's) thanks

Sounds like another question for Home & Garden.
Maybe a wire brush would get rid of the worst of the grime, though it may scratch the surface.
Well I bought some drive cleaner. It turned out to be Hydrochloric acid. I've never used it!!! :) What ever you use be careful not to breathe in the dust & wear goggles to protect your eyes. I doubt that it is 'concrete' anyway. probably Portland stone or something.

Sorry, should explain more. It worked a treat on my nan's stone with LOTS of water.
