I've just been watching the show, and Im hoping someone can answer a question for me. On todays show, there was a teenager who was violent to her parents... But she said she was only violent to them, because her parents were violent to her. In this circumstance, if a person from the social services was watching the show, would they get involved? The same goes for when parents complain about their 21 year old drug dealer son, wouldnt the police arrest him?

i dont believe the police can do anything unless the person wishes to press charges. ie a person cannot be arrested just because HE IS VIOLENT, the person hs to be caught doing the violence or to be charged after someone reports them, unless there is a serious charge like a person has been knifed/stabbed/shot/poisoned then he can be arrested and charged without banyone complaining first. hope this makes sense.
i dont think many police man myt watch the show
That Aran, wanted a good kick up the arse if you ask me and his mother was such a wet lettuce letting him get away with it all.
