Project Planning Software

Can anyone recommend some project planning software which is cheaper then MS Project (�400 a go is a bit dear for what we need). Nothing fancy just the basics - timeilnes, dependancise and possibly man management. I am on dial-up so downloading big stuff is a bit of a no-go for freeware. UK Based. Thanks

Frankly, MS Project is far and away the best for most uses. Look for a used one on ebay.
