Is a Heat exchanger worth fitting to an oil fired boiler? I am fitting a new Worcester oil boiler and don't know if it's really worth the extra money. They say there is 30% saving but is there really as much? Any Ideas?

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean a condensing boiler, as all boilers have a heat exchanger? They will save money but can't comment on the claimed 30%.

This is a simple Worcester bosch boiler with no heat exchanger and a heat exchanger is available to fit on top where the flue is. It is a simple metal box casing (with baffles) which is plumbed in and water is heated by the flue and circulated to the boiler to save energy.
