This morning I was looking at past questions I had been involved in on quizzes and one question had some answers that said 'answer removed '.What does that mean?

It means the answer was removed. No reason is given.

It may well be that the actual posts in your threads were not the problem - just that the poster caused trouble elsewhere and got him/herself banned - which resulted in all his/her posts being removed.
