Well done to the Cop that said to camera, sometimes it can be a waste of time, and it feels you are wasting your time, as they, as we get the villains to court, and they just let them go.

I always think at the end of cop shows when they tell us what the criminal got at Court, what a waste of all that time the officers put in to catch them only for a suspended sentence or to be completely discharged, so yes I agree with you.

His frustration came across loud and clear - very dispiriting.
better than most cop shop shows
I have just done on viddie the Marcin Murder ( convicted of manslaughter) and the rope ( 8 years )

(but) I also did an umpublished support for someone accused of sexual assault - acquitted in 8 minutes
like you know the jury must have voted standing up....

and am quite clear that the police have to prove their case
and not just sit on their bottoms, shaks their wise old heads and muse " well we know they did it"
That goes for terrorism as well
Our legal system needs a total overhaul from the ground up.
