Lidl's Côtes du Rhône is extremely quaffable and, at £3.99 per bottle, very good value.

However it's on offer at just £2.99 tomorrow, so those of you who are impecunious (or simply stingy) lovers of the grape might care to buy a bottle of two.

(The offer theoretically carries over into Sunday but, based upon past experience, they'll probably sell out of stock by teatime tomorrow).

Smowy....give us all some feedback on your return !
It could be worse, she could still be wearing pyjamas.
We don't know that she isn't, Donny......and has MrSmow at the gate with a starting gun..... ;-)
She is more fashionable than that she would wear her slippers with the pyjamas.
I'm back!!! Phew....... looked a slight nutter racing in there and there wasn't much left but I have 6 bottles!!
Ruddy hell Smowy !...we should enter you in the Olympics !
I told you it was only 200 metres lol.
Today, Lidl has been full of ABers!
It does not look too desperate providing Smow was not ripping one bottle open with her teeth on her return journey.
Donny saw me then lol! Skipping across the zebra crossing whilst quaffing wine from an open bottle. Told you I was classy!
Smow....it wasn't you looking a nutter I was concerned about!...xx
I shall open the first one tomorrow, to have with my bloody roast beef.
Lol gness. It's certainly a bargain! Mr Smow is very pleased - he's a red wine man rather than white.
Finished my first bottle of this very good value wine last night, and I would agree.....extremely quaffable !
Since mentioning the above and us getting a couple of bottles, my woman seems to think I can now get all wine reviews here (or somewhere on the Net)! She's asking me to find out about some Lidl cimarosa south african cabernet sauvignon stuff, with a lion on the lable, now rolls eyes skywards. Anyone tried it ? Would you recommend it ?
Well got a couple of bottles. Wasn't impressed by the first sip, but maybe I should've let it breath. Wasn't bad by the end of the glass.
