Can anyone tell me how I manage to get emails through when my proper email address is not used? Some of these emails are disgusting, and some from Barclays Bank and Halifax - all of them have not got my proper email address. I press 'Message' then click 'Block Sender' but still they come through. I have the free AVG.

Thanks

Because hackers can, and do, get everywhere.

As I'm sure you know, all e-mails from financial institutions asking for account info. are hoaxes, and should be ignored. They send them out to millions of e-mails, and zone in on the ones who reply, even if it's to tell them to get lost, so delete and ignore all of them.

Get yourself an AVG anti-apyware package, they are free of the Net, and I enjoy a spam-free existance with mine, and I surf a lot.
Sound advice . I have the same & surf a lot. hardly any span
