....not only are they on upside down....they are very white.....

A few weeks ago Janet starts applying a moisturiser which promises, after a few applications, to create a golden glow....
See Janet smile in anticipation.....

Seven hundred and thirty two applications later Janet has slightly golden legs......
See Janet smile happily.....until last night.... :-(

Janet was bitten.....and no....not by John......probably by a rare and dangerous, life threatening bug........

Janet now has one slightly golden leg......and one rather large, swollen and very red, weeping leg....Janet is not smiling.....

John thinks they should seek medical help but Janet wants dinner and wine......quite a lot of wine......
John can cook.....pah!...He won't have the problems Janet had with this oven.....
See John smirk.....

John ignores Janet's warning about the oven......
See John burn his hand......

Blimey...could well be, J........whenever we went home to my dark Mayo family....my dark mother, siblings and me......people would say.......In the name of God, Aggie....where'd you get that redhead?......x

I've got ( or had)that pale skin/dark red hair colouring also...What's tan for me is laughable.
It must have come from my dad's side,yet he...and my Italian mum...were both brown berries in the summer.
Somehow I also ended up with very dark eyes...and dark eyebrows. More of the Italian side I guess.
Maybe pour some alchohol on your insect bite... or is that a waste? Hope it's better tomorrow.

Hi, Anne.....not yet......but he has temporarily confiscated Janet's bicycle......dressed her leg....he enjoyed that more than she did.....and given her pills and a glass of his port....

We are....in those famous word....monitoring the situation.....well John is......Janet isn't agile enough to assume the position needed to view the damage...xx

How hot do you like it, Ummmm.....and I guess Ginge will be with you......find him shade! Lots of shade and a big hat.... :-)

Mid to high twenties just now.......just about my limit if I stay out of direct sun......but that's fine......trees and bar sunshades are plenty......
The last two days have been very breezy though so not good for birding and not cooling either....

I think I might take up skiing holidays.......no bad insects in the snow...... :-)

Neither of us mind the heat. He just covers himself in sunblock. The heat is worse here because it's so humid and he works out in it in his protective clothing...so he can cope with it fine. We'll get the hats when we arrive :-)

Hi, Seek....no....and I'd miss the birds.....wonder how silly I'd look in a bee keeping outfit.... :-)

Pills are calming the itching, Anne......nasty little blighter......the biting bug....not John.....x

The dry heat is much nicer, Ummmm......and really pleasant in the shade.....with a long, cool glass of something...x

I've never had a bad holiday yet. Although I did go to Cyprus with another couple and she wouldn't shut up which drove me mad.

Many years ago, Ummmm we rented, for a special reason, an arm and a leg Gite for a holiday with another couple....

The day we arrived she overheard a phone call and discovered he was having an affair.....

Once I had separated them, convinced the French neighbours that no....she really wasn't going to kill him...and put her on a plane home the holiday went fine.......odd but fine...... :-)
