Hello there folks,
I have been away for 3 weeks(holiday) and when I came back I couldn't access my AB account. It kept telling me that it had been inactivated. So I had to register again with new Username, and new email address.
So, it's nice to be back, anything exciting or scandalous happened?
No, I haven't actually doubled in size, although the scales are telling me I might be getting near it! LOL

tonyav,
A cold and damp Scotland,my OH's family home.They are warm,but the weather sure wasn't!
Och, it's bracing. :)

A good word Douglas, you needed a brace against the wind!
I'm sure a drop of the 'Hard Stuff' would have warmed you up, OldBather.

tonyav,
Sadly,I haven't touched a drop of alcohol(due to medication) in 16 years.
Your original account is showing 'User Inactive':

That should only happen if you've gone to 'View your profile' and then clicked on 'Deactivate Account'. Even so, it must be possible to reactivate an account (because some people, such as Sqad, have managed it in the past).

I hope that you enjoyed your holidays (despite the weather!)
Ah I see, just when you could have used a drop to.

Buenchico,
Thanks for your advice.I have just followed instructions from AB HQ,I did try lots of ways of re~registering(on my own) but to no avail. At least I am back in now.
It has been (seasonably) breezy I'll grant you, which is why Visit Scotland recommends that visitors carry the mini land anchor and cable, for use until you get the hang of standing still whilst at 45 degrees. :)
It's easily done, Chico. A careless move of the mouse, a click in the wrong place and you are consigned to outer darkness. It is a one way street. I think the only way to get back is to email the Ed, not via the 'contact us' option. I have never really understood this; if you can deactivate and reactivate your avatar at will, why cannot you do the same with your account? Some people flounce and then think twice, but it's too late.
...and Mr Ed is looking for new mods apparently. The old ones are in a dark cellar ;-))
welcome back OB..xx which part of God's country did you visit ?..it is a phew what a scorcher day here just outside Embru !
