When I forward an email, does the banner at the top of the message saying when I sent the message have to be there, or is there a way of deleting it or turning the option off. Thank you.

If you enable the "edit" function in your outlook options you'll be able to edit the message before you send.it. As you can edit any part of the message body I don't see how it could default to do anything in particular. I have to say though that I'm not really sure what you mean by "banner at the top" Is the banner in the message body?

I gave it the name banner because I could'nt think of another word for what I meant. Anyway it is at the top of the message, underneath the message title and the sender. It is coloured grey, but when I rest my mouse on it, the "banner" turns to a pale lemon colour and starts: "You forwarded this message on ........."

Hope this helps you camioneur.
