sepia photo's

Can anyone suggest a cheap diy way of darkening a faded sepia photo?-Its not of monetary or sentimental value-i got it from a charity shop. I seem to remember hearing something about black tea........?

Don't you get black tea and paint over the pic with it and then for added effect you can sprinkle on coffee granules. Spose you could also just get a wet tea bag and wipe over the pic with it.

Due to the rise in digital camera ownership many people have now got Photoshop or a similar imaging package on their computer. Just ask a friend who has such a thing to scan the photo and tweak up the contrast ....works beautifully
