Recently I heard a piece of music in my mock exam where there was no instruments just about 5 layers of mixed voices with lyrics like ''Once upon a time, a time...timeee....the would was once round, rounnnd.'' it was minimalist. Does anyone know what it could be?

I thought it might be the Beatles 'Because' initially, but actually it sounds more like John Cage choral stuff. You probably owe me a pint or something.
It's by John Cage (1912-1992), the Experimental American composer and it's the second movemetn of "Living Room Music" for percussion and speech quartet. It's called "Story" and is the only movement to use vocal sounds - the others are all for percussion ( of sorts!)
