Spectator 2295 last two. I have most letters but can't find words to fit so may have made a mistake.
26ac. Local wanderer's dog nipping rector (5). I have ST?AG
30 dn. Assembly place king acquired lacking pillar (6). I have ?G?T?A and wanted it to have something to do with agora.
Be grateful if someone would put me out of my misery and let me know where the answers were found because I've looked all over the place.
Thank you

THank you. Where on earth do you find words like that? I tried the usual crossword solver, onelook etc. Do you use some massive database?
The Lion King's book of things to know ;-))

He's very clever, isn't he?

Very clever indeed. Is he a real Botswanan lion?
Glad I could help :-)

I'd seen 'kgotla' before & checked it & 'strag' in Chambers, also -
