i have let my music collection slip in the last few years - any recommendations? I have varied tastes: used to be a huge Indie kid, then into Rave, currently enjoying the Black eyed Peas which reminds me in some small pleasant way of Chumbuwumba!

I bought far more old music than new last year (nothing changes) but think you should enjoy:

Outkast - The Love Below/ Speakerbox. No good home should be without.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever To Tell
White Stripes - Elephant
Kings Of Leon - Youth And Young Manhood
Teitur - Poetry & Aeroplanes (moody singer-songwriter from the Faeroes. Be the first person in your street to own a copy!)

thanks Mikewith. Two stars as I am unable to give the full rating until i have listened to the CDs!
Goldfrapp - Black Cherry
JET - GET BORN!
"up the bracket" the libertines "magic and medicine" the coral
Fun lovin Criminals - Welcome to Poppy's, still kings of schmoove , Also , anything by up and coming Gary Numan.... Brill !!
The Thrills - "So Much for the City", also Athlete "Vehicles and Animals", in my opinion!!
Muse - Absolution.
I'd highly recommend Get Born and Youth and Young Manhood by Jet and Kings of Leon respectively. Don't get the 3rd Air Guitar album - it's nothing in comparison to the first two! Although I haven't heard it yet, the self-titled Franz Ferdinand album is supposed to be great. As is the new Blink-182 album. It's nothing like their previous stuff; they've gone all emo! And if you're a fan of lairy Irish punk, check out the Dropkick Murphys. Their latest album is called Blackout. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00009MKS
