I would start by entering a single keyword, then hit GO!
Hi elderly...Usually the name of the crossword or quiz is enough, but it does depend on how everyone titles their question, so sometimes a couple of relevant words will work. ie. many of us are doing the latest 'New Shoots' quiz, but you would need to be more precise than that else you will get the pre vious quizzes as well. In this instance I would type New Shoots Containers. That should cover any questions relating to that quiz. Some just put local quiz
It can save lots of time when they post a question. In which case I would pick a couple of relevant words to search. Type in the box and click go and all questions that contain the search words will come with those words in bold print, then just click and it will bring up that question. It can save you time scrolling through days and weeks of pages to find the original question.Try it with the example above and see what you can get up on screen.
Hope I haven't confused you !!
Do you know about 'Threads'? xx
Hi crofter...You weren't there when I started !!! now why didn't I just put it in a single sentence...makes much more sense...How are you today? xx

.
EARTHKITTEN you have helped me a lot. I usually scroll through days of questions. I will do as you suggest. I haven't heard of threads, what are they?

thanks crofter as well.
kitten again...Above topics on the left of screen, click on my profile...at the bottom in orange, click on the box which says 'threads I'm involved with'.....This will then display all questions you have posted yourself or other people's questions that you have given an answer to. Try it and this will come up.
You can then continue to ask and answer questions within this thread, it can save you posting a new question everytime as those involved will probably be doing the same quiz themselves.
Caution !!! don't forget to check your threads, you can get replies but if you don't check you may not get them for days...I'm always forgetting. I'm trying to train myself to check as soon as I come on to AB, not quite there yet but working on it !!! Good luck xx
