When you get a blocked nose on one side, it swaps sides every two hours or so. Why does this happen?

Blocked sinus - reaction to an allergen.

At this time of your probably a form of hayfever.
i only notice when im laying down and it changes sides and blocks up alltogether!! then you can feel it seep to the other nostril!!
i'm with blue eyes on this one, the blockage moves depending on which slide your head is resting as the mucus flows to block the other nostril, if its happening when you are standing up you must be tilting your head (maybe)

hope you feel better soon
