But no where near as bad as Hastings.

I should stop before I insult a place where someone on AB lives.

Lake District is awesome though. Just magical.

Funnily enough all of which are on my list of places I'd rather go before Gambia. To be fair though, it's a very long list.

Actually - one thing that Gambia has going for it, is its wildlife. It has some of the best nature reserves and safari parks on the planet.

However, that still wouldn't tempt me. As far as I'm concerned, if you go to a safari park, you're labelling yourself as food.

I don't see the point in going abroad now the pubs are open 12 hours a day in Blighty .
I remember going to Spain in the early 70s and we only left the bar once in 5 days! That was to go to another bar !

Lol Sp, definitely not in a lorry anyway. With Mikey on Blackpool. The time I went there I had to put the motor in for a wash and valet. It stank of donkey schizen and rancid burger and I don't eat either.

I have a few musician friends that have been there regularly, mainly for drums/drumming/dance culture. I hope things stabilise there and I sincerely hope things don't go as horrifically badly as they did in Sierra Leone.
