Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Either I've got something wildly wrong or there's a serious error in this xword. 6d: "1988 Winter Olympic men's figure skating gold medal winner." My research tells me that was Brian Boltano. However ... 21a asks for the "first published book by Colin Wilson." The answer to that is The Outsider (1956). The problem is that the "L" in Boltano does not cross with the "i" in Outsider.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thank you RIR. I'll go with that. However ... my Daily Telegraph A to Z of Sport gives it as Boltano and so does Google. But ... Google gives it as Boitano, too. Perhaps someone shd contact the guy and ask how he prefers to spell his name. There does seem to be a conflict here.

I too was led up the garden path by the Telegraph A to Z of sport. Mind you we shouldn't be surprised considering the Telegraphs history of crossword gaffs!
