Not attending two important church services is not like our Betty at all, and there was all that business about not leaving on time for her beloved Sandringham.

Unusual. Victoria died in January 1901. Also her profile on coins had changed in later years to show her wearing a headscarf.

I'll see if I can find it an post a piccie. Her portrait on the coin shows her to be very elderly.

I remember as a boy we always used to check our pennies in the hope of finding one dated 1933, of which only six were minted and only two unaccounted for. They were reckoned to be worth thousands, but no joy!

Yep, I did that too. I have a fairly big pile of pre-decimal coins mostly from the 50s and 60s but quite a few from the 1910s as well.
