Training to be a nurse in the USA

Hi All

I will be doing an access course in healthcare in September and my big plan is to eventually gain my nursing degree then relocate to the States. Does anyone know how a person would go about attending Uni in the States, specifically in nursing? I know that I would have my fees paid for me here so obviously I'm swayed by that. I just want all the possibilities.

Any help would be fab

In order to become an RN, candidates need to have earned at minimum an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN). Completing this degree program allows graduates to take the licensing examination to become RNs. However, for Non-residents of US, U.S. Immigration Law only allows foreign nurses to work in the United States who are classified as "registered nurses". Licensed vocational nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing aids, etc. are not allowed to work in the United States and there are no visa classifications available to them
